John Copus did a good job on my Slazengers, £28 standard pimples and around £34 for Octopus. Good turn around as well.

Blimey! Half as much again and you'll have a new set of gloves!
I think I remember seeing DIY kits in Morrant Catologue

Yeah tried this before, cost me a tenner for the rubber gripping and it was a little bit fiddly however if your patient and use the right adhesive then you get great results at half the price; give it a go

Serious cricket do a pack of two sheets of rubber for £15.

Anyone done this refacing themselves? What is the best type of glue and how difficult/effective is it?
-
Best glue I've found is 'fevibond' Put it on both rubber and glove face and let it go tacky after about 10 minutes press em together. I use clothes pegs for the edges and leave it to set.
You occasionally get ridges or lumps, I've put a pinprick in the rubber and it lets the air out. That works for repairs. Not sure whether the rubber from serious cricket comes ready cut, but going to check because I might have a go myself.

ive done this myself a few years ago. i found its worth doing a section at a time to get it right. i used clothes pegs for the edges of the gloves and sticky tape for around the fingers. makes a decent bond that way. reasonably easy to do if you take your time.

I bought some rubber facing from serious cricket, although I'm yet to attempt a palm replacement. I do wonder how the rubber is any different to table tennis bat rubber though, wouldn't this be cheaper?
I reckon that Geoff Wymer uses table tennis rubber as he only offers red or black palms...

But you wouldn't have to worry about breaking in a new set of gloves, I've had mine about 7 or 8 years and love them as they are like a second skin now!

Interesting...I play league table tennis and I wouldn't want to put the same stuff I use for that on my gloves but some of it may be suitable

I need some white refacing sheets, does anyone have any/know where I can get some?
-
Had an old pair of Gray Nicolls Rapiers defaced by Hunts a couple of years ago. They had white octopus. Wouldn't be my choice but they had it...

Re-faced. Bloody auto correct
