Title: Which Pads
Post by: 19reading87 on March 28, 2012, 12:52:12 PM
Having annoyed some of you recently getting feedback on the pads they use I now undecided which pads I should use for the current season.... So that being said I'm after your thoughts.

The pads however must have a large internal knee locator as I have funny shapped knees which has narrowed down my choices.

Any other suggestions please let me know

Cheers lads

Surely you've tried virtually every brand of pads in the last 6 months Reds - you probably know better than most!

Which ones can you discount straight away? Were the CFs no good? I though you only sold those as you needed money to repair your car. Didn't you have some Ayrteks too?

Maybe take a look at the Woodstovk Platinums? Just an idea :)

Does it really matter, you'll only end up selling them in 6 weeks time because you bought new gloves and the colour schemes clash.

Your absolutely right, I sold the Cfs to fund my car accident but in reflection the knee locator was to small.

This will be my 4th pair, at least people can't say I'm fussy tho......... Ow wait!!! :(

I thought this forum was to help people in choosing there kit, and talk about cricket gear, not to be a keyboard warrior

Just offering a prediction, could say it's kinda rude to ask for advice on pads and then likely be flogging them again in a couple of months time too. he's already gone through 2 pairs in 2012 and the season not even started yet.

Surely that's his problem and not yours though? He sells them on the forum at very good prices afterwards so people pick up good deals from his mistakes

Didn't realise that meant i wasn't allowed to post though. Just feel a bit daft offering advice on pads that are likely to be rejected fairly shortly, didn't think anyone would be getting offended over a throwaway post.

If you didn't want to give any advice on the matter in hand then why bother posting at all lol

At the end of the day he asked us to suggest or choose which pads he wants for the season, what he does with the pads doesn't matter, but it's through us that we help him select the pads or guide him to the pass that we feel would be ideal for him.
