Makes Fat Sam look positively svelte!
No wonder Justin Langer wanted him to do a few laps...
Professional game and all that.

To be honest he's shown a alot of maturity recently so fair play to him I say, Samit of old yes but he appears to be a changed man now...!!

For an ambidextrous fielder that shouldn't be the case really. He was always a boundary rider for notts anyway lol. He's lost alot compared to last year, hopefully he can sweat a few stones out batting us to glory over the next few days ;)

For an ambidextrous fielder

Is he really?

Is that because he's equally unathletic whichever hand he goes with first?

Blacky may be a big lad but a very good cricketer in my eyes!

Is he really?

Not in the sense that O'Sullivan is an amazing Ambidextrous Snooker player just that he has the capability to bowl 'left arm pies' and throws it in with his right arm also...lol not the greatest talent but still...

I bowl left handed and throw right.
Can sort bowl right handed, ask me to throw left handed and I wouldn't be able too!

I met Patel last summer and he is clearly overweight and quite short, Blackwell scores runs and takes wickets but were he fit he might well be doing it on the international stage.

And that's the crux of it, Talisman... He's obviously not motivated to make the most of his talent and that is disappointing (a BIG fish in a small pond).
Mind you, his Test debut was terrible...

Blackwellis a better bat than Patel, better bowler and not as unfit...hmmm...

Blackwell is more unfit than Patel, I'd wager - and did nothing really in his ODIs/Test chance.

nah, he did okay in the ODIs.  His one test was, well, one test - and he was played as a front line bowler and batted eight, which is daft!
