Title: BlankBats Website
Post by: Burdy on March 31, 2012, 09:51:58 PM
Loving the Website Canners. Some nice looking profiles on there and loving the splice stickers!

Will be in touch for a look at a T20 bat and some other big bats you got lurking away.

Burdy you weren't meant to notice the website was live just yet, there's still a few changes to be made, but as a whole I'm very pleased with it

Damn! Sorry mate, got a bit excited when i thought i would take a look earlier and a different screen came up.

I would be pleased if that was the finished product mate.

Some of the big brand sites are far worse to navigate than what is on show there.

Is it just me on an iPad or do the bats look oddly stretched?

Probably shouldn't be looking at really nice bats when I've had a beer lol

Extremely very good website, much better than some of big brands really!

Top work Canners, 100no and the designer :)

Looks class really!

I was only interested in T20 bats and now seeing the website I'm tempted in more :(

Even if this was finished product I'd say its awesome really, I wonder how better BlankBats guys will make their website once it is fully finished.

Brilliant guys!

i think the photos need a bit of work :)

the profile shots need a white background i think :D

if u get a white sheet and shoot them on that it will look better and the flash will bounce of the white :D

if you look at photos tomtek takes these look really classy :)

your web designer has done a top job :)

I agree, better pics need to be taken- just wanted to have something on there

Further changes will be made

By no means is this the finished article

Must be just me but when I click on the bats tab at the top of the page (next to about us) the images look long thin and stretched but when I click on the color tabs on the home page they look fine

Just one little thing guys, if you put grip tape on the bats they will actually look better finished. Might just make people think they are skimped on. Everyone on here knows they aren't but the wider general public don't know that.

Thanks I will apply some grip tape, and snap some more pics

Sorry for being picky canners but probably the pics without the photographers shadow might look more professional too.  Just some constructive criticism  :(   ;)

It's a really nice website. If you give the copy a proper proof for consistency then it would add to the strength of the message.

Tempted by a purple one....

Loving the Website Canners. Some nice looking profiles on there and loving the splice stickers!

Technically the splice stickrs mean they ain't blank bats tho...

I've had that problem on my iPhone but all works fine on my computer.

Maybe the purple could be a bit more purpley? ???

It is looking really good. As a potential customer I'd like to see some more detailed photos. The current photos are good but don't really sell the bats.

All will be fixed in good time, appreciate the 'constructive' criticism

Mr bat off, your free bat is in the boot of my car it's a shame the barn has been out of action for so long ;)

Michael...may well be worth contacting the people who do our 360 view photos to showcase the different profiles u offer ??? U get a lot for the outlay in terms of usable pics from al angles too which look professional as well as 3D views

Site looks good and is easy to navigate which is a plus.
Unfortunately though I'm put off by the lack of contact info , no address which I thought was a must under the distance of selling act and only a mobile phone number which is off putting to me as a potential buyer it implies bedroom seller.
Sorry guys but just my thoughts , you have a great model and would like to see it work.

Nice ideas on the site Mike, shouldn't be too much work to tidy the little bits up. I'm a big fan of the Ayrtek 3D stuff if it's affordable.

Agreed! I like the new site Mike, though I would have gone with something a bit different than the Red+. All the same, I look forward to seeing your soft goods up as well.

Although this isn't to do with the website, I think the blue and purple could be a bit more different, the shades look to similar and I can hardly tell the difference, the blue is fine but the purple could be more purpley ;)
