Title: Champ 'Fighter' Review (with pictures)

I thought I would post a little review on the bat I brought today.

After my disasterous training session last night which saw the bottom 3 inches of my bat fly back past the bowler, I needed a new bat. I went up to CJI Cricket and started to look through all of the bats that fitted my requirements. Chris was an helpful as ever, picking out certain bats, giving me some information, and even making me a cup of tea while i was pondering what bat to choose.

In the end, I chose a Champ Fighter. I chose this bat merely on pickup and feel, nothing more, and ironically this bat was a good looking bat cosmetically, with 9 straight grains and no blemishes. The bat weighs 2.10 with 2 grips, and has 30mm edges.

I have started to knock it in and it feels like its going to be an excellent bat. The ping from the middle is very nice and knocking the bat with a ball it seems to be very nice. I am very impressed.

For £89.99 from a proper retail store it looks a good deal. I guess with Chris you also get good after service too if it does have any problems.

Yeah it was a bargain. Luckily Chris had 5/6 Champ bats in stock, and I was lucky enough to go through all of them to find the one that was right for me!

the pictures dont really do the stickers justice. Most of the sticker is chrome, and look really eye catching!

Yeah the stamping on the sides arent to everyones taste, however, I like it and the middle on this bat is very good, so a little stamp on the edge dont bother me one bit... but i can see what you mean!
