We all know I'm not a graphic designer but my quick work on MS Paint might be able to get my idea across..

Extremely bottom heavy pickup I'm assuming

Looks like a hat from the toe 8)
A lot of meat in that bat.
-
More the lack of graphic skills. Did the shape on the right to show the profile and the pic from the bottom is more the idea.
-
That isn't a million miles away from the basic shape of the Ridgeback Mk2.
-
Reminds me of the kookaburra ridgeback and the gm Luna.

Good idea for what Colesy? You thinking of turning your hand at pod shaving?
Reminds me of a Laver I saw photos of recently, perhaps even short bladed and long handled to compensate for that bulk in the toe....

I wouldn't be good enough to make bats. I wanted the picture to show a traditional shaped bat but instead of concaving it, take the wood which would be behind the edges and move it into the middle. The edges would be thick enough to withstand impacts without damage.

Sounds good to me... I think it's great to have the choice of traditional v concaving bat shapes.
On John Emburey's AOC batting video he states he wishes he'd had this much choice in his day and I was looking at the Ninja bat profiles earlier which literally reminded me of 'sword' shapes from their profiles... as well as seeing a couple of forum member attempts at pod shaving.. long may the choice continue...

nothing like a Luna, Luna has overhang like a mushroom. I had one and it was concaved down below the edge and the middle section is actually overhanging.

Thought the Pallera was concaved.
So my idea does work, it's just been put into practice already :(

I was thinking about this the other day as well!
