Evenly poised after 2 days play. Which way do people think it will go? Personally I think it will be a draw, but with the strength of Englands attack you never know.
-
i agree england could take it but it looks to be a draw with this weather
-
strauss and cook are going very nicely indeed but with the weather forecast not looking promising, i don't think england have enough time to bowl out nz again. lucky escape for new zealand as they look pretty bad and if they win a test i'd be very surprised!
-
i supose england are in drving seat but it will be a draw sidy bowled well yesterday
-
he did bowl well. nice to see him come back well after his below par performance the day before
-
Day three delayed by 30 minutes players know coming out onto the field.
-
I think everyone is fed up of that little light meter lol!
-
Yeah me too England back in the pavilion again. Looking more and more like a draw.
-
my game is canceled today so i thought thats alrught i will watch the england game, but no the rain is stopping play!!! >:( >:( >:(

I Think Its Heading Towards A Draw.
Possibility Of An England Win.
Most Likely Winner Is The Weather

I do hate weather interuptions! Anyone got any ideas to sort this prob out?
What aboutevery hour of play we lose...we start an hour earlier!
-
yeah but the way we are going we would have to start so early it would be a couple of days before but seriously it would be too dark to start early but cant think of anything else you could do, heard something about putting roofs on stadiums but personal i think its stupid you wouldnt get dry pitchs for spinners of overcast conditions for seamers
-
you could put rooves on some stadiums but the pitch would pose problems. Or the solution over here is using drop-ins. but they suck
-
Hate To Sound Stupid...... But What Are 'Drop-Ins'?

Hate To Sound Stupid...... But What Are 'Drop-Ins'?
I think its growing a pitch elsewhere and then putting it in! But im not 100%
-
basically a pitch not grown at the stadium which is transported from another place. they arent good for test as they tend to wear out quickly. Sadly... the 'home' of australian cricket the MCG uses them. :'(
-
i think the chances to carry on playing.. ie bad light offered to the english batsmen, should have been rejected and they should have carried on batting
In tests, i feel no team goes ALL out to win.. its 'aim for a Draw, but dont lose' mentalitiy :'(
-
Agree Sameer no team always go all out from the first ball but if your 2 1 up in a series with this the last test your not going to try your hardest to win are you, you will be happy for a draw.
-
in a 3 test series.. isnt it best to go all out in the first test to make sure u win? rather than play for a draw and then hope we'll win in the 2nd ... and then play for a draw in the 3rd again? :-\
anyways see what happens in the 2nd test... unchanged squad which is EXCELLENT for the players.. give them some consistency and team motivation..
Down side being, some players may start losing the will to win, concentration etc.. Anderson comes to mind
-
Looks like the kiwis are going to win the second test unless they bat for too long.
