I realise there's been a few topics around about people that have painted their pads before.
However, no one's really gone into specifics about the type of paint they've used and if they needed a lacquer etc.
Bit of guidance would be useful, if anyone could give an example of the type of paint they used I'd be grateful
Cheers

Don't do it...

I tried bumper paint for just a day event, worked well. But if you want coloured pads surely it'd just pay to get some Clads?

Got some old keeping pads that I was going to have a go at.
Looking at £50 for a set of batting and keeping clads which is pretty pricey.

Which is better than having to buy spray paint everytime you pads need touching up before you use them! :) it'll work better in the long run.
And correct me if I'm wrong but I swear you can use batting Clads on wicket keeping pads :)

I am currently selling a pair of GM's Sprayed Black mate :)

You can use the batting clads on w/k pads no problem. I've done it before.

Thought so :)
