if i put a G&M shock absorba grip with the thicker ribbed bit at the bottom of the handle will this make me grip the bat more top handed?
-
it depends on the size of your hands mate. However, you may loose the feel of the shock absorba grip.
By ribbed do you meant the spiral grips? If so, I suggest you put a chevron or a diamond grip.
Does the shock absroba grip really do what the name suggest? Is it similar to the Kookaburra feather grip?

ive got a few of each here and one half of it is like the feather grips but maybe a little bit thinner, prefer the feather ones myself

yeah but if i put the thicker bit or half a thick grip on my bottom hand will it make me more top handed or more bottom handed?
-
in theory, as the top half of the handle is thinner you will need to grip it tighter in order to hold the bat, so in theory it will make you use the top hand more
-
my bat weighs 2'12/13, and i use 2 half grips on the bottom with a gm shock absorber on the top. it makes the bat pick up like a 2'10!
-
Is that the bat weight with the all the grips on?
-
no, i guess it would be much heavier and probably towards 2'14/15. but the pick up makes all the difference, it doesn't feel at all heavy.
-
yh, quite a few of my mates do it aswell. just the same as having a counterweight under your grip.

does anyone know where i could get that bdm grip the blue, white and red one
