As I stated in my sales topic, I got a few bits from Redback this week including some new softs for me, so thought I would do a little review:
I wanted some new gloves for the season, and have been using the old style Red Redback gloves, which I really like because they are very soft and flexible. However these Redback Premier gloves are even softer. The palms are Pittards WR100X, and as a glove they are very light and comfortable. Weight-wise they come up at 325g a pair on my scales.
I kind of persuaded myself to get some pads to go along with them for vanity's sake, even though there's nothing wrong with my Newbery GT335s. The pads are light, comfortable, and although possibly a bit too modernistic for me I do like the looks. They are 684g a pad on my scales.
Pics of both are below folks. Enjoy:

TOES!

Sorry - I'm running the London Marathon this coming Sunday and my toes are a bit manky, have lost a couple of toenails during training.

Have you worn the pads yet mate? I picked some up last year and they feel very solid i.e. don't wrap around as much as some other pads. Amazingly despite 9 weeks of winter nets I am yet to be hit on them :o so will be interesting to see what the protection level is like

I love my Redback gloves. They're great.
