I've just fitted an anti scuff onto my RPC but the scuff I was using had been folded when sent to me and now the lines are very evident. I've tried pressing the air out of them as much as possible.
I know it won't effect the performance of the blade but will it effect the anti scuff and the life of it ie: they get worse and spread etc....

Get the hair dryer out mate :D

Whilst on the scuff is still on the bat??
-
That's what I've done with creases in it before, don't know if I'm right lol.
Or tap the area with a mallet
-
And it doesn't effect the willow with heat on it that much???
-
I don'y have it on full blast, just a gentle heat, but I wouldn't have though it will effect the willow mate, it's not like it's being exposed to anything majorly hot for a very long period of time

Will give that a go in the morning then...
Cheers lads

10 seconds on the hair dryet shouldnt really damage the bat to much i wouldnt have thought wood wont dry out that quick.
the scuff sheets are like vinyl so i guess when they get warm they get flexlible

Yer will be robbing my mums hairdryer in a bit to try it out...
