Not sure of its been asked before but here it goes...
The 2011 and 2012 808 gloves are based on the Original LE's, but what are the differences other than the pittards palms? They look almost identical?
-
All Out Cricket liked the 808s and rated them best budget glove. Unless you're playing against top attacks on a bouncy tracks, I'd be tempted to get them and save £30.
-
That's what I was thinking. They look exactly the same.

If you can decipher this table it will give you the information you need, you should compare 5175 and 5S46

so in short - different palms and there is no additional palm wear patch, otherwise pretty similar.
I am sure the guys from GM can explain more

Weight, palm and protection.
There is big difference in terms of protection, obviously LE being more protective.
-
Cheers for that. Going on that table I would say the protection level would be pretty similar if not the same

I would to, so for example the 909 pads have the same level of protection as the L.E pads, I think.

I have both 808 and LE pads from 2011 in my bedroom and I can safely there is big difference in terms of protection. However, 909 could be different as I have never used/seen them.

I have just got the GM 808 gloves through the post. They are very nice, I don't normally use sausage glove style but these are lovely. They are more supple than my 909 sharktooth gloves.

I had the 808s and the mesh above your hand wore out really quickly, very uncomfartable.....
