and the stig turned up demanding a go...
more to follow

Ohhhh retro....iv managed to get my hands on the GN model as used to splat zombies in Shaun of the dead plus some other old school numbers.
Hoping to get hold of them tomorrow as I wasn't driving on Sunday when I gathered hem up.
-
Thought the Shaun Of The Dead bat was a Slazenger? :(
Lovely bunch of blade Buzzatron, look forward to the rest of this :D
-
You need an old reflex to add to that lot!
-
The old reflex and insignia didn't make it out. The new caerulex is a pretty good version of the old one with larger edges.
-
Good bats those Hunts
-
Just out of curiosity, do Hunts County use maroon rubbers in their handles?
-
the 20 year old bats in that pic have maroon rubber in the handle. no idea about now.
-
I can't believe the stig didn't invite his new sponsor :(
-
I'll check the Caerulex later.
-
unfortunately Malcolm has asked that we only have two people at the barn at any one time.
plus this was a little last minute.
I had a go with the stigs new bat and it was sensational.
we will put up marks from the bats later.
the stig rocked up unannounced!
-
I was only playing ;)
The new caerulex looks very tasty, is that Tims?
-
The stig was a bit lucky, as when he turned up we had enough people to perform some scoring, so were able to provide some numbers on the bats we had with us!
There were the Caerulex set, two revolution Ps, an 1885 and a mid-low middled Ultra.... I'll tease you with results in a little while, but I'm afraid the pictures will have to wait!
-
No film :o
-
Not this time. Wasn't supposed to be a batoff so didn't have all the kit with us...! Which is a pity as it would have shown some lovely cover drives from me, and the Stig getting bowled off an 80mph yorker....

That Stig is really going down hill, time to hang up his white lid me thinks

Was pretty funny seeing the stig's face as he was completely cleaned up - mind you, who fancies 80mph in a dark bowling machine from 16 yards... :o
-
Errrrrr not me!!
-
Here's some scores on the doors. Sadly the Caeruli weren't the best bats there...

Pictures will be along a little later!

That Laver was brilliant - you picked up a bargain again their Tim - good to see a forum brand winning though, thanks Canners and Tai!!
Tim - would you be able to put together a table with all the batoff results in - it would be good for a comparison...
-
These revolution P bats sound to be holding their own, top of the charts eh :)

Probably, yes. If it hadn't been for the standard retail price causing it to get 0 points there, it would have done even better...
-
OMG. Took the Laver to real ball nets tonight. Scary bat. For the bowlers. Wow. Proper ultra!
-
Whilst at the barn we got to play with some of these beauties...

The Laver is the one I used tonight and was astounded by! Can't wait to use it in a match!
