Title: Professional players using sub standard kit.

I once saw on flickr, a long time ago, a player in a county championship match wearing a pair of 909 gm gloves. Also, recently, someone posted a picture of an essex player using a gray nicolls bat which was players not limited edition. I just wanted to ask if any of you have seen other professional's using less than top of the range kit. Also, if you could post pictures that would be great, as I wondered if they could be successful without the top of the range kit.

The bats professional players get are solely based on performance, I remember Gray Nicolls batmaker Alex saying once that if we grade a bat or two which was being sent to Cook then it would be graded as 5 Star.

I have a bat of Nathan McCullums, that is a Catalyst original, and not a original LE

Kohli, Dhoni, ST, Sehwag all use or have used in the past some BAS gloves that look like the Lord Taverners specials......ive always thought they looked proper village but must be comfy for these guys to use them.
