Went down to solitaire today and purchased a bat. Scales they had stated it was 2.12 and a bit (fully dressed), turns out to be 2.14 and 3/4 when weighed at home (using electronic kitchen scales and fishing scales). Basically their scales don't work which may explain some of the weight issues.
Anyway very pleased with the bat.

2 oz is quite a bit. Obviously scales vary but sounds like they need to sort them out

Yh i mean ive seen loads of comments etc about their weights being off so that might go some way to explaining it.

Pics please :)

How do I stick them on? Willow grade seems a two not a one to me ,however, it picks up like a dream fro the weight of it and after a bash with the mallet it appears to have a remarkably long middle.

Ok cheers, ill probably put a review up tomorrow then

I picked up a Solitaire at the tail-end of last season. Knocked it in while waiting for nets to start and have had a pretty vigorous net period with it. My Solitaire was supposed to be 2.10, but came at 2.11 (though he did tell me this before it shipped). I'm unbelievably happy with it. Beautiful pick-up, low middle and the ball pings like a dream.

I too have nothing but positive experience with Solitaire.
My bat is as nice as anything i have ever used although I am now experimenting with lighter weights but what I am really impressed with is the quality and price of his junior bats.
We have 4 juniors now with these and they are every bit as good as the £140 offerings that the posh kids have :)
