Title: Satisfaction
Post by: stevie on June 01, 2008, 01:58:23 PM: What dissmisals you take give you the most satisfaction. Mine would have to be stumpings as you have to concentrate and watch the ball all the way into your gloves and then take the bails off.

they shouldn't collied tho coz first slip is deeper than the keeper

Post by: Sambo on June 02, 2008, 07:39:55 AM: very few people outside a high level of cricket know that first slip should be deeper than the keeper. i can't really say what is the most rewarding for a keeper, but i can say for a first slip. the really low ones near the carpet. i drop more than i catch but when you get them. it's bloody awesome

My fav though was this blinder last year off a top edged bouncer down the leg side. Had to jump up and dive across and grasp it in the left glove!!
