Ive had 2 pairs of Adidas Mid Bowling boots and have had to get rid of both pairs after 1 game.
In each game I have pulled a hamstring (once whilst chasing the ball to the boundary and once whilst bowling). Has anyone else had this problem whilst wearing bowling boots in general as i believe that its the ankle support which is causing the problems (i have no probs in normal spikes e.g. Asics Advance

Or you're not warming up properly? If you've been playing recently it might just be that you're so cold you can't warm up at all!

If you think about it, its logically correct I believe! I suffer from short ham strings anyway, and I notice that If I wear mid Bowling boots of any kind, I suffer in the hamstring area. I believe its because they effect the movement further down, such as the Achilies and the Ankle movement, so will in turn put more pressure on the hamstring.
However proper stretches daily really help. I spend 10 minutes a day doing these hamstring stretches and I havent had any knee, or hamstring injuries since!

I've worn high top bowling boots for most of my cricketing life and never had a problem with my hamstrings, either bowling or fielding. I'd be really surprised if it was the boots causing the problem!
