I currently have a masuri with a normal steel grill, I'm finding it too heavy at the minute should I buy a titanium masuri grill or buy a helmet with a titanium grill for £40 ish? If I get the new helmet I also would be looking at selling the masuri.
-
Just buy a new grill, no point spending more on a new helmet when you don't need to.
-
the new helmet is cheaper with a titanium grill by £20
-
New helmet then!
Get your old one on here and jobs a good un :D
-
thats what I thought, Ill have to dig out the piggy bank now
-
Where can you get a £40 helmet with Ti?
-
can i post links?
-
yes, please do!
-
totalled up its £45 http://www.woodworm.tv/woodworm-tough-nut-fluo-mens-cricket-helmet.aspx - £25
http://www.woodworm.tv/woodworm-titanium-helmet-grill.aspx- £20 get something else for a fiver total is 50 quid free delivery and bobs your uncle
-
The helmet part of that package will be a lot heavier than the Masuri anyway so you won't actually have a lighter helmet overall!
-
Ud be better off spending £20 on the Ti grille
-
Would that ti grille fit a Masuri Tom?
-
you sure?
-
Sould do as it has slots at the front although it is what they use on Albion lids generally due to coming from the same manufacturer.
-
Got one in the office so will give it a whirl tomorrow if I remember
-
I'd be interested to know as well mate! £20 for a Ti grill is a great deal if it will fit my Slaz Elite (which is a Masuri if I am not mistaken?)
-
do it cheers tom as it would save me money if it were to fit a masuri
-
Correct, slaz stick their logo on them...gotta be in the office early tomorrow so will fit one to a masuri and let you know the score
-
hopefully were on to a winner

Grille on a Masuri, the current settings provide a 60mm gap between peak and grille
-
Thanks for doing that mate!
Seems like a cheap ti grille is going to get bought then!
Thanks again...
