Got this through from salix today after i visited the workshop to pick myself a bat for the season. Not the most prettiest of willow but its down graded from grade 1 due to the blemish. They said they were surprised as it was an awesome bat and had been trying to get rid of it for weeks with no sucess.
An older and more traditional profile with no concaving and was the 04-05 profile if i remember. Just got to get it ready for the season now... ::)
The bat weighs 2lb 8 and about 20mm edges.

Sounds like you may have picked up a bargain, a blemish like that may not look pretty but wont effect the performance in any way. I did read about the down grades from salix but it didn't indicate a price so can you let us know roughly what you paid or not.

Very nice - I do love a traditional profile like my redback ;)

Very nice looking bat. How much did you pay for it? It should be a cracker of a bat.
