Title: Gray Nicolls 'G' shoulder stamp

I have a Gray Nicolls Nitro Pro Performance with me, bought for £1 at a dump just before being thrown out. No cracks or splits in it just some use.

Just wondering what date it was made or what the 'G' on the shoulder signifies.
