So having given up on wicket keeping middle of last season I now find myself ready to keep this Saturday as the regular keeper is away... Trouble is I've just taken my gloves out my bag and they are so so stiff and rock solid!!! What's the best way to loosen them up??

I'd say wear them during a little Friday night TV and scrunch away....

Unfortunately I don't need to loosen keeping gloves up, as I don't keep.
Could give it a try sometime though haha

Maybe try to rub some oil into them or some beeswax.

u got any leather cleaner or anything like that , got my wymers out other day they where rock hard got some leather conditioner for my car seats and used that on them it softened them up a little bit,
