Title: Stand up bags
Post by: junter97 on May 18, 2012, 08:29:13 PM
Looking at getting one of these, just wanted to know what's the best stand up bag on the market, don't want anything massive either. Has anyone got a normal wheelie bag that stands up as well?

We've got our mk 3 version of our stand up in shortly as had improvements made to the handle and sides so it's more solid to stand-up better after some feedback.

Iv sent one of the 3 i flew over out to a forum member who got his name down early on the waiting list but the others have already sold...sea freight load are en route tho :)

A team mate of mine has recently had to sell his Ayrtek bag as it didn't stand up at all.

Shame though as it looks like a decent bag.

I have recently bought the Blue and Orange Aero stand up and it surely must be up there with the best available.

Acres of room, 3 bat compartments, zillions of pockets and also comes with a smaller holdall and a wash bag. I know it cost £94 which is Costly, but it's carrying a £200 Ayrtek lid and £500 worth of L&W's, so well worth the money.

Tom, dimensions of yours please.
My woodworm stand up is too big for the boot in my new car!

As long as you don't mind turfing out another £94 next year when you have to replace this one.

Not going to go for an aero one as I hear they need replacing almost every year! Also I don't want one that's massive either, what are the smallest stand up bags on the market?

Sizes of ours are listed on the website, we have included solid side wall panels now to make it stand-up better as feedback was that people weren't so worried about being able to fit more bags in their boot and would rather more room in the dressing room

I asked this a while ago and was told the Aero Stand Up Tour Bag is fantastic, and on paper it looks it. However, seems to have a reputation of falling to pieces, costs a ton and is also very difficult to get hold of, not many stockists actually show it as being in stock it seems

I'll post some pics of it in September to highlight any wear and tear; I will be ghastly if it needs replacing that quickly, you lads have made me nervous now!
