ive played with broken finger before
same here. fingers and thumb. not comfortable but id rather play injured than watch. give it a few days and see how it feels
-
I'd play if it were dislocated, not if it were broken.
:(

From your past experience, whats the best way of strapping it up and protecting it?
-
depends where the damage is. i normally lightly tape the joints so they can still bend and then some around the tip and finger itself if needed. its one of those things its got to still be usable whilst being comfortable ( as it can be). no point taping it up and you cant bend it or its uncomfortable to catch as thats all your going to be thinking about.

Not worth it since it's broken, you need to let it knit back together, scoring beckons.....
-
Depends on where it is broken, but better off not playing for a bit. Bust my little finger last summer and there was no way I could hold a bat...
-
Ive done it before however the decision is up to you and how it feels. If you are going to play then make sure you strap it properly, cover the joints and try to buddy strap it to another one, over the top of your gloves if your keeping

If you have a broken finger, you should at least try to rest it for the coming weekend - you do want it to heal don't you??!!

Play one week with the risk of missing the next month. Are u a betting man??
