LOVE the shape of the toe!
-
The toes almost as big as the middle! :) love that shape
-
Very nice I must say.
-
Thank you!
Tried to lower the middle as much as possible for the slow and low Romanian pitches.
-
A lovely profile on that. Handle does look absolutely tiny though

Yes, made on special request from my mate, who has tiny hands!
-
That looks lovely mate, Off set edge and all :) I wonder what it would have weighed with a little less concaving?

Thanks mate, it would be around 2.10 with almost no concaving.
-
how did you achieve the concaving?
I used size 4 travisher

Monster toe!! Never really understood why th etoe is so thick, more in the middle and less at the toe for me.
Bat looks nice, reminds me of a GM.
Stickers ........... ok but could do with looking a bit more modern for the younger lads to get excited. Remember stickers seem to sell bats these days

Thank you for your comment. From my limited experience, I have seen many bats cracking at the toe with the kind of pitches we have here.
Stickers are modest and I hope they will grow slowly in the eyes of buyers.

great job. like the profile

That's a serious stick mate. I really like the simplicity of your livery too. It's very nice.
-
I've looked at this a couple of times and the profile is growing on me, I'm quite intrigued as to how it would pick up as the largest point of the edge appears to be just about the toe.
I can understand wanting to try and avoid toe damage.
-
damaging the toe is all part of batting, there isnt very often that you dig out a yorker fast enough to smash the toe, if the bat is properly knocked in.
I always think its worth put a bit of tape across the toe for extra reinforcement.

I have tried to create an offset edge to improve the pick up and it really helped. The bat does pick up well.
