Title: Small Cracks along grain lines
Post by: bucko2007 on April 23, 2009, 06:36:55 PM
I've played two matches this season and hit 44 and 133 and unfortunately after hitting the latter a few slithery cracks have appeared along the grains (one pretty reasonable one). Is this normal? It still plays alright, and I guess if i knock the cracks in they will "solidify" and pack together securely... its just a little aesthetically unpleasing!!

I just knocked them in when I got some on my bat - the bat was pretty soft to start with.

keep playing with it its fine, the bowlers wont notice as the ball flies to all parts
the aesthetic is only for you, no one else

It is a good sign for performance, just fit anti scuff to hold it all together.
