Title: Somerset v Durham
Post by: Talisman on May 24, 2012, 01:15:28 PM
Looking like a quiet afternoon of run gathering then 3 wickets fall for no runs, if we knock over the rest by the end of play we could have Nick Compton score 67+ tomorrow to become the fastest man ever to 1,000 runs in the season, beating a chap called Bradman....

It needed to as Somerset has been under 3ft of water for the whole of April and most of May....

Then 4 for 0 runs a wee while later.  Still, PDC might fight your boys off in a classic reprise of his famous rearguard actions of yesteryear.

Great win for Somerset. Was fairly annoyed overall though, dad said he was working right outside the ground today, and said I could of gone with him to watch the afternoon and evening session. The bluming idiot didn't contact me though. Would of loved to have gone done today! :(

Very kind of Somerset to give the Durham boys time for an extra day in the nets....
