Alf is another from the County dynasty where he learned alongside Tony Cook and Chris Farrant. Then he joined St. Peters. Then joined ACE.
He retired about 7/8 years ago and ACE ceased to trade.
James Dollive, Alf's apprentice bat maker at ACE, now runs JEDi Bats.
-
I used to use this as a mate of my Dad's was good friends with Alf. Nice bat, went really well. And about 10 years ago There weren't too many knocking about in the south!

In the 70s. County was sold off in the early 80s when SP got into financial difficulties. The UK County business subsequently went bust, and Hunts County bats was started by some former County employees.
