As it says in the topic. I do favour the leg side a fair bit - but I cannot seem to cut the ball at all, compared to being able to being able to play the pull shot well.
I realised the other day, I'm coming over a bit too far with my back foot it seems and then I cramp myself up with space when the ball is wide on on the offside, which normally I end up leaving the ball - even when it's a poor ball ready to get the treatment.
After watching it closely recently and it seems the good old back and across technique doesn't seem to happen much, it's normally a 'waft' of the bat - any ideas on how to strengthen here?

If your cramped for room its not wide enough to cut, either punch it with a straight bat or pull it. You pull on length not the line, the wider outside off it is the straighter you pull it, ie over mid-wicket in your case
