So the hammer edge sheet I have on my bat has come unstuck at the botton and has curled upwards now. I doubt it'll affect performance but the bottom 2cm is now unprotected and that part of the bat looks rather unattractive now.
Has anyone had this problem? Last year I was using a cheap clear facing which was fine but this fancy Newberry hammer edge isn't looking too great!
Any solutions would be appreciated :)

just trim back the anti-scuff with a knife and protect the bottom of the face with glass fibre tape

Can sometimes happen when tapping your bat at the crease. Once it becomes slightly loose dirt will get inside and stop it from sticking. As suggested I would trim the bottom and use some fibre tape, if not buy a new hammer edge sheet.

It's amazing how well looked after the bats are in this forum . I was going around the other day picking up team members bat , the state of most bats will give the forum members a heart attack.

A lot of my mates will buy a bat for one season and then get rid so they don't care so much. I like to get as long out of a bat as I can so always look after it!
