Title: Spike Suggestions please
Post by: WABH-J on May 28, 2012, 06:41:11 PM
hello all,

i'm after some recommendations for spikes. I the priority for me is flexibility and movement, like I'm wearing trainers even...but also some support needed as I bowl as well.

I'd also like some advice on sizing. I bought some Asics in size 10 and they are a tadge too big, reckon I'd be a 9 or 9.5 in Asics. Could anyone suggest what size I'd be in other makes? I ask because usually I'm a 10/10.5 but only because I have wide feet, on length I'm usually a 9.

Thanks,

W

Flexibility, movement and lightness your best bet is Asics Gel Advance 4; they're like trainers and so, so light. However, they aren't great for bowlers because they don't offer much support. I wear a pair of Nike Century 2s and they offer great support, but aren't the lightest boot around (nor are they the heaviest).
