Title: The Pyro
Post by: Red Ink Cricket on June 05, 2012, 07:16:42 PM
pyro profile shots below. 2lb10 fully dressed. 35mm edges and 55mm spine at its highest. picks up well. had some photos taken today for the website so will hopefully have everything ready by the end of the month. concaved back but happy to supply this without/ minimal concaving and a reduced spine height (depending on weight) for those who are not fans of the concaving..

LOVE this profile!!

they pick up well. ive left a little weight in the toe on this one as the person this is for wanted it a little bottom heavy. ive made another one at 2lb9ish that picks up really nicely. as per the LE profile these are available in all grades. Prices  as per forum offers in the red ink section

That Pyro is honestly one of the sexiest bats I've ever seen; handle to toe, the profile, livery - all top notch. Impressive.

My wife spat it at me yesterday because I bought a small GN draw string bag to protect my pads. It cost me $4. What hope have I got?!?!? ;) As much as I'd love to.

Love the bat purely for the fact it sounds like a Kings Of Leon song

johners what is the pickup difference between the pyro and limited edition?

Pick up on the LE is slightly better due to the higher middle. Pyro still picks up really well. I can always tweak the pyro shape to bring the middle higher for the harder wickets. I have made a couple of pyros with a higher middle and also a few with a more bottom heavy feel as per the customers request. As the bats are made to order I can tweak things like this for you.
