Hi all new on here and what agreat site. Just noticed someone wanted to know about the aldred bats. well i saw a couple being used in a game by some ex pros last year at Warwick school in a charity game and was interested in them as they seemed to go pretty damned well but they were ex england players so i guess they make a difference.
Well i have been and bought one and yes they are good when i have sussed how to put a photo on i will do so, but i went and had mine made at his house. i picked on the feel of the bat not the ammount of graines and i am more than happy with it. would deffinately go back again. He did me a deal on a new shape that he has out as he remembered me talking to him at the charity game asking about them. have seen a couple the same in the Derbyshire area when i have been playing. Have seen a few of his bats out there of different sorts to be honest. if someone can tell me how to put a photo on i will.
The kit looked nice too but my pennies couldnt run to that am afraid at the moment
Hope to speak alot more on this site could be dangerous for my bank account though

I've had mine a while and own a laver reserve/M+H Amplus/Laver Private bin/Newbery TT pro grade. Quite simple the Aldred's performance is as good as my TT and better than the other 3. It has now become my match bat above all the others, all of which I hold in very high regard. I am extremely happy with mine and would be happy to ell all of my other bats to get another one.
