Right Chaps
Doing some R&D on the Premier range and looking to offer up 5x A.C.I.S Premier Helmets at a special discounted rate in exchange for some testing and feedback off the back of them.
We are looking at new ways of fitting the liners meaning that they can be removed to dry and then fitted back in again by the owner.
This is something we are looking to trial before considering a change etc so thought it would be great ot use the impartial forum folks to achieve this.
As such we have up for "sale" 5 x A.C.I.S Premier helmets with the new method of A.C.I.S that we are willing to sell at the below costs:-
-A.C.I.S Steel- £50.00 inc UK P&P
-A.C.I.S Titanium- £65.00 inc UK P&P
These will be offered on a first come first served basis but are going out on the basis that we need them to be worn and used in order to see how they perform. In the event that they should fail epically we will offer a replacement using the usual method of fitting them once the other helmet has been returned.
The person will get a choice of the 3 stock colours as part of the price.
Cheers
Tom

Wouldn't it be more beneficial to people who already have an Ayrtek lid as this will give a greater indication on the improvements made in the technology.
Not trying to blag myself one but it would be easier for people to identify the changes made than someone who goes from an Albion to 'new style' Ayrtek etc.

its more the method of fitting the A.C.I.S that we have changed so people who already have them glued in aren't going to notice a big difference, its more the fact in exploring if they stay fixed in when a hot and sweaty head is inside of it after a few games etc.

Tom what would be the price for the lid alone?
-
Oh right, got you now.

Tom what would be the price for the lid alone?
The steel grille is a minute part of the overall cost TBH so would be £48.00

how much does the premier ti weigh?

814g approx

Having never actually tried one on but always looked at them, i'm sorry for asking this question!
I always wear a helmet when keeping stood up and batting but i have to have the grill as close to my face and as low down as possible so i can't see the grill (i know this isn't the safest but i like to have something there with at least some protection and usually the angle of the bowl coming to me it should be ok! (Hopefully!)) Very similar to how Marlon Samuals wears his but close to the face
Would i be able to acheive this same with a Ayrtek helmet?
Very interested if so!!

You can adjust the grille to a certain point but not 100% sure exactly how wide it will go as never tried to open it up beyond the recommended settings TBH.

Ok mate
Anybody know if you can that already owns one?
