Hey guys,
Just wondering if you are able to help me out a little bit here, I'm looking for overseas clubs for next year to play at during our Aussie winter and want to see if any of you have any contacts or anything for decent amateur clubs. I play 1st Grade in my local comp back here and have just finished my last year of school cricket, captaining the team. I also have my Cricket Australia Level 1 Umpires Course (which allows me to be paid for matches) and will be receiving my Level 1 Coaches certificate once my final year of school is completed in November (yet I have already coached junior teams especially with wicketkeeping, batting and fielding).
I know its only early days in the 09 season for you blokes but having the input from a few of you would be of great benefit for weighing up a few of my options. Obviously I'm not looking to be paid or have my airfare paid for but I would be looking for some form of accommodation and a job (pouring the pints maybe) as a means of monetary support. I'd also love to be fairly close to London as a lot of my mates will be over there at the same time on GAP years (and London is a great place to catch up).
Hope a few of you are able to send me in the right direction with some competitive cricket and friendly atmospheres!
Cheers

We're Dorset Premier League Champions along with being a brilliant social club, everyones really friendly and will help you with Accomadation and job hunting, maybe even working in 'The Vic' our local!
Here's the contact information.
Martyn Richards (Club 1st XI Captain)
Hope this will help! :D
