Which Bat Make would you say makes the most quality bats?

Having had all of them, my favourites for me have been Fusion. Their higher middles they specialise in suits me.

About two seasons ago I had a Fusion super best made for me. I gave my specs over the phone and had the bat delivered. It broke in about the third match of use, no big deal, but due to their fantastic service they offered me a like for like replacement of the same standard and I was promised the best willow etc etc.

As with the first model I received, it just didn't ping that great. This is after extensive net use and knocking in. I know they were really busy at the time. The other thing was that the finish and pickup was not as perfect as with other bats e.g. newbery, M and H.

Don't get me wrong, the one I have now is a good bat. I just wonder if they pressed it a bit firm to avoid early breakage (although even the first one didn't ping amazingly) and also wonder if they really gave me a bat which, according to them, is made to the same specs as the bats they make for test players.

My suspicions are further aroused by the fact that they are now offering a limited edition bat which is from the lightest and best clefts collected through the year. If this is the case, then I was not given what I asked for, which is the ultimate in willow and the same service as their pros receive. Either that or the bat I received was pressed too firmly and therefore performance suffered.

Overall, I feel a little dissappointed and next time (which will probably be Warsop, who promise me the best and look good value), I will personally insist on the absolute lightest and best clefts.

So, in summary I would recommend Fusion due to the fantastic gentlemanly service but on the condition that you personally select the cleft and make sure it isn't pressed too hard.

Personally I would go with M and H as their bats are of great quality, and ping fantastically well.
