In my honest opinion -not a fan of the helmets, makes the batsmen look like NFL players!
-
Are they new to the market this year in regard to their pads, gloves and bats?
-
I like the helmets, anyone know a price ?
-
Pads and gloves are basically canterbury stuff as Ayrtek made the stuff
-
The gloves do look like Canterbury ones Leo, i just bought myself the Canterbury pads after watching for a cheap pair for many months and i do like them.
-
Yup they are cants as Ayrtek supplied the designs to canterbury to use for their softs.
Where did you get the canterbury pads from wattytotty I am after some again!
-
£29.99 from ebay but it was a shop selling them, tried Aero and Warsop lightweight pads but dint think a lot of them but i did like bas version but they are difficult to get and expensive so £29.99 was a bargain and there great.
-
good to see ............. benn using the helmet today. (can't spell his first name!!)
-
sulieman- i think.... :S
-
lol yeah glad he asked for SB on the side of his helmet rather than his full name!
-
to be fair no batsman in there right mind would look at there helmets once again another non batsman ie andre nel with the albion
-
Every brand has to start somewhere and these do so with impressive spec's. I would expect many Pro batsmen to start using these.
-
let's hope so, would be nice to see them wearing something 3 times as safe as what they current use!
Word of mouth will hopefully start to spread and players will opt to use a product that was designed to help protect their livelyhood should they get struck.

What's the deal with the England Vodafone helmet? Is that lined up for someone? Or did Ayrtek just decide to make one up...
-
I quite liked the look of the stickers on the back of the bats, but then again that's my personal taste. Maybe Ayrtek have a deal with England for this summer or something, as England have some new OD and 20/20 kit this year?
-
I quite like the helmets and the bats. Any idea when they will be available or if if they are available where?
-
Its up on there site http://www.ayrtek.com/http (http://www.ayrtek.com/http)

It was just a sample helmet to show the possibilities of what the helmets can be sprayed to look like. Along with the decal sticker of vodafone this one was of the first shells we produced to use as a display model.
Would be nice to have the England team wear them in the one day games but got a feeling they would all want money to do so!
Nice to hear people like the bat stickers all kit is available online now through the website
