Saw these on ProDirectCricket - very cheap for what they are at £39.99 from around £100 as advertised on Owzat.

a tad ugly, mind you...
-
I kind of like them - seem like a modern version of the Morrant Ultralite style.
-
guess so - personally have never really got into anything other than conventional pad designs!
-
Bargain! They look good imho

Apparently, my stock has been allocated!

that'll be okay then 8)

Right then, moving away from the supplier, I have unpacked these and tried them on. Firstly, I don't think I'd have paid full whack for then, but at this price they are a bargain. They feel very light and have a lot of protection. You feel as though any leg byte will ping off for four. Now I've only tried them on the once but definitely very pleased with the purchase.

post a picture up

Are they right or left handed, there doesn't seem to be an option on the site?
-
Very nice by the way, especially at £40.00!

They're ambi, but that's not really an issue. Very nice to use and that they fit someone as tall as me is telling that they aren't the usual small size!

there's a lightest pad thread waiting for your input :D

Those look great i know from the Puma pads i have that they will be very light and very comfy

I don't think they're anywhere near that list! :o

i can't believe i missed the deal, mad at myself now >:(
-
They look amazing - I rate Puma softs very highly :)
Tim mate if you wish to sell them let me know pal :D Might be interested in them
-
Great bargain at £39 - look top notch. The Puma softs are the best in their class imo.

Am I the only one who does not like the look of these pads? I wouldnt buy them even for £40

Mine arrived yesterday- they look much better in the flesh as it were, not quite as garish. They weigh almost nothing and the protection is the best I have ever seen/felt. £40 well spent i reckon!

Yes, have to agree. The contrast on the stock images seems to have been massively turned up as the blue and red/orange are a much darker hue than those show. And I can't disagree on the protection. Really, really good. Some people might not like the looks, but I'm a big fan!

There are also Puma Kinetic 5000 in OSM for 39.99 on there...

Great spot. Think I shall check my funds before ordering some!

Used these today in a match for the first time. Very comfortable and very well padded. Really didn't feel the ball hitting them. Wasn't massively fast though...

Finally found a pair of Puma pulse 6000 pads from cricdeals.com and cost abt 60GBP with shipping. As Tim2000 mentioned Pads a very comfortable and fit really well. I was a little worried abt the size when i took them out of the box as the top flap on this is not conventional looking but then put them next to my other pair and they are the same size so very happy :) so glad to have finally got these.
Off topic: got my first ever pair of SG (ultimate maxlite) batting glove as well, incredibly light and comfortable..will post pic later but overall happy with pads, gloves & bat from cricdeals :) . I believe they will be on here soon :)

Tushar, good to hear that you rate cricdeals - I believe Amit has recently joined CBF. I think his username is the same as on the CIF (i12breakfree)?

Yeah he just joined on here the other day, so far has been good to dealings :) its helpful for us North Americans to see multiple deals from various retailers on one site rather than browse from site to site.

Thanks for the kind words. That is the goal of the site to give best deals on daily basis from various retailers.
