These are cracking bats. up there with the best.
-
are you scoring runs with your one?
-
Ive only played abt 4 matches. Cant buy a run...
-
I have got my hands on another BB, now have 2. They have a very very nice response but the pick up sometimes feel a bit heavy for the weight and the handles are thin/round but a few grips sorts out the problems.
Im feel like the handle needs to be improved, cant you source the MH Distinction handles, they are really nice oval handles and everyone who holds one comments on how nice it feels. Im rubbish at physics but im sure a thicker handle would improve the pickup.
I have scored a lot of runs with my BB's in not many matches so not complaining and would recommend them to anyone so please dont think im having a go just commenting on how i think the bats can be improved.

People wanting thicker bat handles seems a very common thing. Would certainly save me from having 3 grips on my bat!

The first batch of reds we sourced had thinner handles than what we expected,
all our bats we ask for thick oval handles. The handles on these are a decent size and very oval at the bottom
I agree M&H have the handles spot on, and thats what we are trying to replicate with our handles
There's certainly nothing wrong with the pickup on these bad boys. One of my team mates actually commented on how light they feel and suggested they must be hollow
Im sure people on here can clarify how light these pick up

i have 2 BB's and they go very very well, just hte handles im not 100% on but it looks like you have identified it and sorted it out. I jsut measured my handle and it is 12.5cm at the top and 13.5cm at the bottom ...... the MH Distinction i have is 13.5cm at the top and 14.5cm at the bottom, both with two grips. It looks like i would need 3 or 4 grips on the BB to be the same thickness as the MH Distinction.
I have no hesitation in getting another BB they are superb, in fact i am going to get one later in the year.

Good to hear Garrattj, I hope your still scoring bundles of runs as always
Have you decided what your match fee is for next season ?
-
Wish i could get match fee, costs me £5 a match! Im around 600 runs from 11 games (7 of them 20 overs matches) and not out 6 times but i am a ringer so nothing special.
I will be coaching again next season, i am hopefully going to be teaching under 13's next year but i don't have a coaching badge so probably cant do it but i would like to as i see so many under 13 kids who are being coached but don't have the basics such as grip, stance or backlift right.

I'm sure you can come and get a coaching job in Essex ;)
