What socks do people wear when they play?
Proper cricket socks or regular sports socks?
-
First pair I grab
-
Same as Roco, the first pair of white(anybody who wears socks other than white at cricket deserves a fine..) socks I find in my house..
-
yep, just any white socks I can find
-
1000 mile socks, they are the business
-
Black Wilson socks. £5 for 5 pairs at matalan.
-
Tesco F&F sports socks 3 pairs for £6. Decent quality.
-
1000 mile socks,
-
White Adidas socks are fine for me, although the free more mile ones I got with my asics from Start Fitness are very nice
-
Used to wear anything I found in my closet but for past six months I have been using Horizon Test whereas soon will be using 1000 Miles
-
i used to always grab whatever was available, but this is the first season I've started using Horizon socks and I love them, for the sole reason that my feet never hurt after a game now.
-
I picked up some adidas ones from an outlet for £1.50 a pair, cracking set and at that price it's cheap too
-
I have a pair of Stockpile socks and I'd never use anything but them again. Brilliant, proper cricket socks.
-
Found white Bridgedale walking socks. Used to wearing them all day at festivals and on walking holidays. Turns out they are great for cricket!
-
I usually use normal sports socks, such as the wilson ones from matalan, or slaz ones from sports direct, however i find I go through them rather quickly, so have been experimenting with walking socks, and find they are so much more comfortable!

Sorted out some nice cricket socks off eBay for the lads we sponsored this year, same as lots of retailers stock but were half the price!!
