Yeah a local ground does not help the square is in a bowl so all water goes on to square

Montgomery and yes is a beautiful ground with nice pavy and sun deck

We thought you might, otherwise we would have asked to play there. Everywhere else in West Dorset is either flooded or booked, so we have to settle for 5 points against bottom of the league!

We definitely should be playing Roco! It'll drain in a couple of hours I'm sure. The biggest disappointment is missing out on a cricket tea really :(

Not to try go one further, and not where I play cricket but where I was supposed to the other week:

Although our track isn't the best at least the ground drains well.

Ours drains okay, except when it has had constant rain for 3 days.

Those pics were actually from up north, well east mids, but thats north of watford so its the north

Got to feel for the people that put the covers on, did all that work then the water just went underneath them.. I'm guessing they won't be playing any home games for the rest of the season unless they have international standard drainage..
