Seems like GM gloves have been sold out already.

Those Kookaburra R900 softs tempt me

they're a steal at that price, though the pair of pads i tried had a really long bottom strap...

Scuff sheets are terrible mate, I ordered some stuff and thought I'd see what there like.
Basically sticky back plastic

The GM LE gear is selling out, batting gloves and and bag are no longer listed.
Wicket Keeping gloves and batting pads still available. Bats at £250 but not possible to pick any weight.

Cheers, was tempted by the GM's as I've never used pittards palms before. But I prefer the look of the oblivious. Probably the amount of air time they get with cook at the crease.

I rate GMs quite high as they are quality gloves but these Oblivion are quite amazing too despite they don't have pittards. Overall very soft palm, to my surprise they were not very stiff either!

So I have nothing but high words for them

On a separate note, interesting to see that slazenger have coloured pads available.  A move to be followed by other big brands possibly in the near future?

Why do they have to do this to me? I'm not going to be able to resist ordering a bat.
Screw you sports direct, screw you!

I'm so tempted to buy the kook r900 gloves and pads. They're the ones I had my eye on earlier this year before I bought my GM stuff - must resist though as I don't need them.

The GM softs are really good but to be honest I find the armourtan palms not as comfortable as the standard pittards that I had on some kook blade 950 gloves that I had last year. That's the main reason for being tempted by the r900 gloves.

Crikey. I was looking at my local cricket store (I won't name it), and the asking price of Slazenger ultimate cricket batting gloves was over £74.99, granted this years pair. On sports direct sale, last years gloves (or at least that's what the picture shows), £17.99. Ordered myself a pair, plus a new thigh guard.

Their sales always seem to present good value, though am I right that when it comes to bats you need to be careful because sometimes they don't match the actual picture/website listing? I remember seeing a couple of posts last year, but some rather tempting bats, but I've got no room.  :D

£17.99 for pittards is a bargain. I brought some slaz off ebay for £25 with pittard palms a while back and I'm very pleased with them.

Been into the 2 stores local to me this morning and they had absolutely nothing. Disappointing as they had tonnes last year
