After finding that my Slazenger v90 duffle bag wasn't great with wet boots (bring out the plastic bags) and was rather stuffed, I invested £20 in one of these.
It fits boots and helmet in two separate pockets, with the one large pocket for gloves, pads and everything else. Carried with two shoulder straps and plenty of padding, it is a very luxurious duffle bag, and being a duffle bag it is not replete with tons of pockets. For £20 I am impressed and it is way more comfortable to carry than the old one.

Nice duffle, where did you pick that up from?
-
'twas our friends at pro direct who had it in stock and delivered it quickly. It was also the best price I could find.
And before anyone asks about internal pockets, put your wallet and keys inside your helmet, in the helmet pocket and they are completely safe!

Nice

Thanks for putting this up Tim, looks really good. I might have to try to get one sometime.
-
Looks excellent, much nicer than the old design! Would you be able to pack more than 1 bat though?

No, but it's a duffle, not a coffin... And if you need an extra bat, put it in its own carrier and sling that over your shoulder.

Sorry for the confusion - I meant this duffle... think it was made fairly long ago?

Looks amazing, really like this duffle bag. Definitely on my list as I have problem carrying my current bag to indoor
Tim mate is the bag itself heavy (when it's empty)?

No, pretty light.

That's pretty old yes.

nice bag, but I prefer my Newbery duffle!
-
Looks well designed! I was looking at the Salix duffle to use at Winter nets, but I may reconsider! ???

The problem with all draswstring duffles is that I play LMS T20, which often means that our bags are in an uncovered spot when the rain starts. The drawstring onesm however hard you try, get wet inside!

What the hell is that in the cage? An Ewok?

Oh, did I forget to mention that these bags are sentient and have eyes to make sure no-one tries to nick stuff?

It might not come with the spooky things with bright eyes (what will GN think of next), but the shamrock duffle is right up there. I've posted a review here

I don't disagree, but that looks absolutely enormous...

The shamrock duffle seems great too, might be an odd thing to get interested in but I seem to be obsessed with finding the right bags. I've got a GM LE load wheelie and a GM duffle but neither one are really that great. I've got a midweek game tonight and decided just to take kit minus pads and thigh pad in a normal hold all with my bat in a full length cover instead of the hassle of taking a bigger bag.
I'd be hard pushed to choose between the two duffles, shamrock seems bigger but the GN seems to allow you to organise your kit better. Might have to get rid of my GM duffle and try one of them.

I'd say it comes in between a medium size cricket bag and a duffle. You can fit it plus one other medium size bag in the boot of something like a VW Golf/Polo, possibly even 2.
The best thing for me is it means I am no longer transferring kit from my duffle to my wheelie bag for matches and nets.
Plus you get a choice of colours!

Nice bag and well done on this - cheaper than we could get the bag for (the trade price is £20.85) No surprise it's Pro Direct again...!
-
Does the mars bar in the top of the bag come as standard?
-
Good quality snacks in that bag, I think I can see a nature valley granola bar in there too - very nice.

I ordered it last week, and it said "Available for immediate dispatch" on the web page when you choose your size. They do next day delivery.

I have used this bag this year and its quite good, although it is a touch too small. Have to take a backpack for whites etc.
I don't even bother using the helmet compartment, just put it at the bottom.
-
I bought a pro-performance bag and used it for a touring weekend which involved a train journey from Cumbria to London, tube and then car to Sussex. The bag was ideal for travelling and can hold a full set of kit for a batter. The helmet and boots compartments are very good as is the external bat pocket. If you keep and bat as I do though you have no chance of getting all your gear in though and would probably need a Shamrock duffle. I had to leave my batting pads and aero strippers behind, but I got everything else in.
