Anyone on here going to watch?
-
Was lucky enough to play Lashings last year. Amazing day!
-
According to twitter, Tomtek is going.
-
I made it down and even rode my bike to maximise thatchers flow... Great day in the sun and good turn out. Bedminster lost to 80 runs in the end but was a decent game
-
I popped down for a bit after work, and was down there last night having a pint with Lou Vincent who seems pretty sound! Somehow my mate managed to get rid of Ian Harvey and Vincent which is a good effort!
-
Tom... Did you know that if you get caught riding a bike pissed up they can still ban you from driving?
-
Stayed for the Lashings' innings then had to leave. Met a couple of players and our overseas player didn't tell me he plays in the same team as Wasim Jaffer back in India so they had a long chat, tried getting some gloves off of him but he had to go :( haha

As it turns out, no they can't. Had this debate many times before and as your driving license is not related to a bike, this is in fact an urban myth.

I heard u can be charged for being drunk on a horse too!!
-
In law a bicycle is defined as a carriage for use on the highway but cyclists are not in charge of 'mechanically propelled' vehicles so, in law, do not have to adhere to exactly the same rules as motorists, including 'drink drive' rules.
Section 30 Road Traffic Act 1988 says: "It is an offence for a person to ride a cycle on a road or other public place when unfit to ride through drink or drugs - that is to say - is under the influence of a drink or a drug to such an extent as to be incapable of having proper control of the cycle.
You can not get endorsements on your UK driving licence for a 'drink cycling' offence, however you can be fined up to £2500 for cycling dangerously.
I remember a story about someone being drunk in charge of a horse a little while back.

Apparently drunk in charge of a cow is also an offence!
