Well I played a T20 last night, and to my amazement I dig out a yorker off a very slow bowler, and there is a huge dent/crack in the toe of my beloved Hattori!
Turns out the ball was a flaming sports world special bat breaker! Absolutely hit the roof, and made them change it.
My question is what can I wrap it with, like the GN tuff tek wrap etc? I'll refurb it myself just wanted to wrap it with something to give it some protection! The ball was that hard it even put a dent in the middle of the bat!
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Crack in the middles down the grain mate, not really worried about it!
Shaq yes if I win the lottery tonight I'll be treating myself to a couple of hattoris!

Mate if I win 105 million I don't think I'll be playing cricket tomorrow. I'll be smashed!
If I win it, I'll be off to Matt's workshop choosing clefts!

In a Lambo? haha

Ah the horror!. They should make yorker illegal so it doesn't break any more.

I'd say you want to sand the face down tape across the toe and over the edges as support then antiscuff over that. It's also worth sticking a toe guard on aswell to give a little more stability. I can get this sorted for you quickly if needed

It doesn't look that bad mate tbh, I'd just give it a little attention with the bat mallet to compress and harden the area and get some fibre tape on it. It it gets any worse open up the crack with a knife and put some PVA in then clamp using grip off cuts.

Pictures don't show how severe the dent is :/ lol, and dont show the crack, I'll tidy it up in the morning slap some tape on her!
Be alreet!

I agree with what fletch said , give some tlc for the time being with slight sanding and knocking it in a bit.

get some finer sand paper/ or wire wool then brewax it
