Hey Guys,

I didn't want to start a new topic so I'm posting here is thats alright?

But I am thinking about buying one of their bats.
So if anyone has info on the bats that would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Sorry to bump a prehistoric thread,

But Marty Graham and his wife Meg (hence the MG2) do a fantastic job over here in NZ. Probably the next best in the country behind James Laver, and if I recall correctly Marty actually used to work with James. Quite a few of the first class players down here have used his bats. He is based in Napier and I know that when the touring teams come he often makes them bats. In the 2009/10 India tour he made bats for Sachin, Sehwag and Dhoni and now sells those profiles. Can't comment on shipping overseas as I live in NZ, but his service is excellent. Also his refurb options are really good too. Haven't had any experience with his softs but from what I can see they look top notch.
Would definitely recommend MG2 to anyone.

I played against a touring NZ rep team last year and a few players were using MG2. Not a laver to be seen....except mine. They looked good sticks, there opener and #3 were using them from memory.

A lot of guys from the central North Island use them, Id say the school would've been Napier, Hastings or Gisborne Boys High?

Yeah it was a combined north Island team mate not sure what age they were that escapes me but not adults.

I've got one, goes nicely! Makes some lovely sticks. Few higher middled models too.

Few kicking around our league and all have looked pretty decent!

Looks good but the shipping to the uk probably kills it.
