Title: Hard Gloves
Post by: Timbo on May 11, 2009, 09:52:35 PM
I've been keeping for 2 seasons with the same gloves but the palms don't seem to have given in too much and are still quite hard. Has anyone else had this problem and is there anything I can do to soften them?

get a ball and smash the ball into the back of the glove as hard as you can

Thats a new one to me Walshy why the the back? which gloves are they btw the cheaper gloves tend to stay that way, whereas the better quality ones wear nicely

They are Smasher Bully gloves - they were Wisden Cricket Good Gear Guide keeper gloves of the year. I'll have to admit they are a lot better since I had them folded under the bed!

im not a keeper but one at my club said that he used to jump on them in timberland boots. . . . .

that softened them up, but he always said he kinda liked them abit broke . .  . .
