Post by: Tom on August 06, 2012, 02:46:25 PM: The Carbo bats have carbon fibre re-enforcement on about 4" of the outer handle base. It's within the MCC laws of the max 10% other materials (exc wood, cane and twine).

The only GN carbon handle bats were the GN Fusion range. Which are now illegal in first class cricket. They can be used to the end of their lifespan in lower league cricket, and cannot be manufactured anymore.

Post by: thebigginge on August 07, 2012, 02:30:33 PM: A carbo handle can't make the pick up heavy, they weigh the same as a cane handle. I've never understood why people get so confused by the carbo and the carbon fibre. Tom has explained it perfectly.

Tom...would you know how does the Carbon Fibre in the Carbo bats enhance the performance over a traditional handle without the carbon fibre?
