So you got his mojo?
Lovely looking bat.
Does not look very big like the ones he has been using in the games, but I am sure the ball flies off it.
-
Rember when his bat broke the odi and he swapped bat ???
This is it apparently it will come In to use over the winter.
I hope he can live without it !!!
-
I think SS should really look into their branding/stickers - reduce size of stickers and put 0.5 - 1 oz more wood in the bat :)
-
How did you even get hold of it? :O
-
I must admit could to with some more wood really wanted one of his red tons but apparently that just aint gonna happen

He might have take "Pup" for a Nandos feast :). I hear he is a great fan of Nandos :)

Should should have added Brahma beer to the Nando's feast - I am sure that would have done the trick! :)
None the less - looks like a screamer.

Ha poor bloke ! But I really like him he has been cracking with me however I hear his personal reasons are quite bad an fear we may never see him playing cricket again
-
He's been called up to the Lions squad.
V rare to see a Pro SS (well any pro bat) with a toe guard on.

AB deVilliers used SS at the end of the IPL and the one he's using in this test has a toe guard. Not saying it's the same make but could be coincidence?
-
well as far as i know according to the rumours i am hearing he will not be p[laying the lions match

Not many quotes in that article to back up the headline!

don't the bats Ravi has been using recently have TON branding instead of SS on the stickers?

Ravi Bopara today aborted his scheduled return to action following a break from cricket for unspecified personal reasons.
Bopara, who missed the drawn second Test against South Africa at Headingley after originally being named in the squad, had agreed to return for England Lions' four-day match against Australia A at Old Trafford.
However, although the 27-year-old was at the ground this morning, he pulled out of the contest before a rain-delayed toss, informing the management that he does not feel in the right frame of mind to resume his 2012 season.
"I thought I was ready to return to action but after some consideration I just feel it's too early so won't be playing quite yet," Bopara confirmed.
Left-arm spinner Simon Kerrigan replaced Essex's Bopara in the XI and Lions captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and chose to bat in the first of two matches between the Ashes rivals' second strings.
Quite extreme for an alleged breakup with his broad...
-
Told you didn't I there is a lot more to this than I fear and from what I have heard we will not see bopara in an Essex or England shirt for a while
-
Ravi Bops, top order batsman and ahndy meadium pacer drops out..
..and gets replaced by a left arm spinner ???

I was kind of thinking the same thing! ???
-
No other batsman in the squad. Kerrigan's a good pick. Australia have picked two 'spinners' (relative term).

If he told the ECB on the day of the match that he didn't think he was upto playing then they probably didn't have much time to find a replacement especially as many potential replacements may be playing games currently..
-
its a strange one ,
like i stated last night i was fully aware that bopara wouldn't be playing in the lions match .
so if i am that informed even if its just rumours or not
why did the ecb decide to choose him
because surely they would be aware of the rumours .
-
and Kegsy takes 6 for to bowl the Aussies out for less than 200! Top work fella!
-
I spoke to kerrigan yesterday about bopara and he claimed he didnt know whats up, then i said although its lucky for you, you wouldn't be playing.
-
