My pleasure, Dave.
I saw that you were after one, so let you know. I'm glad it's not a dog!
Thank you too for your offer! :)

No I'm not him. He had 5-6 cracking looking bats. Asked him what weight the gm players bat was. His reply was "its pick up index is 3 so will be 2-13/2-14" so kind of put me off.

Played against a guy who had a scoop last night. It was a good looking bat, very understated look with a white grip , gun too ball cracked off the bat.

Gone off large brands as i think you get more value for money with a less well known company but i was smitten last night and how have to do some hard thinking.

Mate if you can give it some time it might play better, i used mine yesterday after I gave it to a friend early in the season. He has been playing with it and use it every now and then, was great

Got mine yesterday. 2lb 8oz. Such a classy looking bat, really happy with it so far.

But at the moment, she's like the girl in your class at school...you've lusted after her for ages, and fancy the hell out of her, and finally you've worked up the courage to make your move...now you've gotta find out how she kisses.

A net session of heavy petting next Weds shall be the moment of truth...!

Eeesh, must admit I've never thought of a bat like that.

You need to. Love her, respect her, and she shall reciprocate.  ;)

Unless of course you're like me (i.e. crap, and blessed with sod all natural timing), and she will be far happier in the hands of anyone else  >:(

This is probably just displaying my lack of cricket bat knowledge, but how do the middles of these bats perform better than the rest of the bat when it has such a significantly less amount of wood?
