Title: Powerbow V oblivion
Post by: Mattycricket123 on August 07, 2012, 04:39:35 PM
Is there much difference between these two models?
Currently I have a 2.10 oblivion 5 star which i feel is slightly to heavy for me and the pick up doesn't help as the middle is low. I am interested in the power bow and would like to know if it has a better pickup and what the differences are between the models

I dont own either. But heard obilivion has better pickup. Best thing would be to go to a store and feel it.

I have had both but I like Powerbow better, not because of the pick-up but because I don't like the concaving on Oblivion...

Recently got one of Starussy's Powerbow and it is a amazing bat. I like it better than any other GN bat in the present range.

It seems that there are two types of Oblivion. The English made and Indian made. One being smaller, has a lower, longer middle and chunky toe as opposed to the other which has bigger edges, bigger spine and slightly higher middle.

Powerbow extreme that I had for a bit had minimal concaving on it. I had a cheap oblivion last year picked up great but just did not feel right in my hand.. here are some pics of the powerbow that i had earlier, have another one on the way but that too is for a friend.. also the pick up was not bad on this bat...
